- How to make shapes - How to use the Pen Tool - How to use the Direct Select Tool to edit anchor points and handles - How to use the Pathfinder Palette to edit shapes - How to use the Layers Palette Stuff you're GOING TO LEARN: - How to use the <SHIFT> key to make a perfect circle with the Ellipse tool - How to use the <SHIFT> key to select multiple things at once - How to use the <ALT> key when selecting an object and dragging to create duplicate instances of the shape - How to GROUP objects - How to ARRANGE objects (Object --> Arrange). This allows you to move the objects through the layer. (You can also do this using the Layers palette, fyi.) - How to use the DIRECT SELECT TOOL to edit corners of a shape you've drawn. - How to use the SELECT TOOL to scale and rotate an object. |
